I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I was gonna get from that. Thanks for taken it for what it was meant to be, A laugh
. Was one of those things i just could not pass up. Like Monday Morning after super bowl Sunday and ya say ta the wife " Hun I feel like crap" and she said "Yes Ya smell and look like it too". Just trying ta keep the Alaska is bigger than Texas feud fueled.

Just trying ta keep the Alaska is bigger than Texas feud fueled. Maybe in the past people from Texas would feed to a feud. Now days it does not mean the same as it did in yester years. We also know Alberta Canada has more land mass.
Everyone has a right to be proud of thier native state as well as any that they adopt.
Texas joined the union on Dec. 29, 1845 and Alaska followed suit in 1959; one hundred and fourteen years later.
So for 114 yrs the comment Bigger and Better in Texas was used by Industries -Commercial Advertisment and Texans and was a well used phrase at that time.
We Texans think that its simply is not relevant
any more.
