I have an SCT SF3 for a 2006 F350 6.0. I normally run the street tune and the only adjustments i change are the tire size as in revs per mile and thats about all but there is like shift press from gear to gear, and like wot from gear to gear. was wondering if there is anyone out there that knows a good way to set that stuff. I dont know what to adjust or how far. So if someone can help i would appreciate that. Truck is 2006 f350, 37" tires 6" lift and 3.73 gears. thanks

You need to purchase custom tunes. you can have someone set up tunes files to match your truck... It will run WAY better.
I run WOT shift pressures +10% on certain files. If you have a specific problem, it's best that you have your tuner make the adjustments. I've been told not to mess with shift points at all.
Ya i know i can get custom tunes. but this is a sf3 not the x3 so i dont know how the custom tunes go if they are any different. i can run the wot 10% but what other adjustments can i run and where can i get tunes from for this? thanks
Fellas,
Quick question. I just bought a SCT X3 tuner. What are the "srategy tunes" that are already on the tuner? Are these preloaded tunes..? I am not real familar with this thing yet. However, I am not too interested in this since i bought a few custom tunes. But I would like to understand the full functionality of the tuner. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
the preloaded tunes are canned tunes and will work with any strategy, and might shift good or not. and they might lock your TC or not. anyways get a custom file and be done with it. you will never go back.
