Anybody got the series 10 installed on a 5.8L 351 or any other V8. Im interested to see what they actually sound like compared to what the description is from flowmaster's website.

My friend has a single chamber Flowmaster on a 318 Ram with a single cat. It's loud for sure, but it drones bad. A Magnapack, or something similar would give you a good amount of volume while on the gas, without as much of the drone. It would flow better too.
I agree. Chambered muffers drone and those type will resonate extremely bad. I recommend straight through. Something like the Magnapack or Dynomax race bullet will probably be to your liking.
I see, I've heard people speak poorly of these before and I was actually surprised. I had a set of 2.5" 40 deltas on my last truck and thought they were just great. But now that I'm reading Flowmaster's website, I see that the delta's were manufactured specifically to "minimize interior resonance".
I guess when it comes time to do another exhaust, I'll have to do some listening to both chambered and straight though to catch the differences. Thanks
The previous owner of my car put a set of Delta Flow 40's on it, and they can drone pretty good. Straight through style mufflers sound great to me, plus they flow better. Kinda' like a win-win haha.
