Transmission problems???
Looking into getting a used extended cab F250...probably 1993-2002. Would like to find a diesel if possible. I've heard that there may be certain years that had transmission problems??? Is this true...if so what years/models???

Your spread of years is a bit wide. From `93-`941/2 the diesel was the IDI mechanical injection diesel. You had a choice of the bullet proof C6 trans with no overdrive, the E4OD with OD but computer controlled and the ZF5 manual with OD.
From `941/2 the engine was the 7.3 Power Stroke computer controlled diesel and in the first year of that the only choice was the ZF5 manual trans. After that you could get the E4OD.
All the transmissions are good but only as good as the service schedule.
