Hey fellas i just bout a 2004 f250 5.4l with 85000 on her its my first ford truck soo what would u guy saggest to look out for or do to prevent breakage thanks a bunch
I would start by going over guzzle's site and checking out, and then completing the some of the things he lists there. Yes he works on a smoke pusher, but the chassis is basically the same. The calipers, brakes, fluids (oil, tranny, transfer case if you have, and the axles), 4x4 esof hubs, hub bearings(needle bearing) and most of that is all while in there anyways. If you have time I would also pop off the coil on plugs (cops) and check out the rubber boots that go inbetween the cops and the plugs. The boots usually crack and then you have a misfire and an expensive cop to replace. The boots are in the $5 each and cops in the $50. Just make sure you use some dielectric grease and grease the end connections and then some around the sealing surface before you pop them back in and you should be good to go.
