Fresh dusting of snow two days running. Hope they got more higher up on the mountains. (I"m at 6,500 ft.)

Probably! The paper says more for next week too. I've been waiting for the thaw so my flights wouldn't be so full.

Good evening everyone. In Nevada there are two seasons WINTER & ROAD CONSTRUCTION.
In two months we are out of here. I will take the 120 degrees in the Colorado River area anytime over the cold here.
We have seen the last winter in Northern Nevada. This year was it for us. My bet is that this is the year that Northern Nevada won't be through with cold & Snow until sometime in May. In the old days I have seen 3" of snow in Hawthorne with wind & temps in the 40s the third weekend in May. Hawthorne didn't even get 3" this winter.
I wasn't too far off when I said on here, that the snow from Dec. may not be gone in Fallon until March it was Feb.
