christop43,

You're right about that. The problems can be traced back to the older folks, and society. When your government stepped in and stopped allowing parents and schools to discipline (not abuse) kids, that got alot of this started. Now, the parents that just don't care, use it as an excuse. But, regardless of the reason the kid is like that, I'm still not going to let them hurt either me or my family. I don't want to hurt anyone, but, I will kill in defense.

Gun owners, I was wrong!

Since i live in a border state(tx) it would be my observation that the BP is as much an instrument of diplomacy as much or more as it is an agency of law enforcemment........i.e. Mr Bush and his alter ego in Mexico was ready to initiate a "give them mexicans citizenship" cause their already overhere anyway , so just "sign'em up and lett'um keep on workin'"...........Now I'm not prejudiced against any person but what does that tell all the folks that came over and went thru the Process and became citizens the Hard way?????I visit a laundramat every so often in my town and on Sunday morning it is literally full of illegals washing their clothes... They are extremely kind folks and i enjoy listening to them tell how hard it is to evade detection and find ajob so they can send money back to Old Mexico to feed their families.......Most of the jobs that they perform around here are occupations that "white boys" really have no interest in performing cause the work is just TOO hard and we are using our Brains instead of our biceps---Right , Just my point of view , fd

Gun owners, I was wrong!

You know what is absolutely hilarious? I don't know about where you guys live, but around here in central KY, there are many banks, government buildings, offices, etc. that have signs on the door that read "handguns stricly forbidden" or "weapons not allowed". These signs are directed toward people who have a concealed carry license of course.

But think about this...if you are a robber, thief, thug, criminal...whatever...how would you feel seeing a sign like that? Heck, that's almost a welcome, isn't it?! Those businesses might as well put a sign up that says "No one else in here has a weapon, so if you come on in to rob us you'll be safe". :-X12

I tell ya'...our nation has changed so much...and not for the better either. If a crook knew that the clerks in the courthouse could be armed, the tellers at the bank could be armed, the receptionist at the desk could be armed, the other customers at these places could also be armed...wouldn't that tend to scare them from holding the place up or acting out an act of terrorism??

I say protect the Constitution, and allow us to be armed like we should have been allowed to all along (according to the constitution) and the whole country will be a better place to live.
