NEED A REAR END!!!!
anybody know of or have a 95 - 2000 ford explorer for parts???? i need a rear axle assembly for my 1999 Ford Explorer XLT. It's a Ford 8.8 with 3.55 gears. axle code 45. you can find the axle code inside the drivers door. my rear diff is shot and it'd be easier to swap the whole thing. I live in Old Forge NY. thanks

The local Pick N Pull has several for about $100 @. The Mustang guys are always in there getting them for the Traction Locks and the gears. Local for me is Va. Bch. Va.

well im in NY and my pickins are slim... 3.55 gear are anyway

Have you tried Craigs list? You might buy a donor vehicle cheap enough to remove what you want and then sell the remains to a salvage yard?
