Audible alarm -Help!
When I turn on the ignition in my Ex there is no alarm, but as soon as the engine starts (7.3 diesel, 168,XXX miles, 2001) I get a continuous alarm! No idiot lights are on, so I am not sure why the alarm. I think I can smell something electrical, but I am not sure. Thank you for helping a newbie! I have" lurked" here before and this place is great!

Figured it out!
The previous owner installed an inverter that I must have accidentally kicked on, causing the beeping. Since I did not get any replies here, I knew it had to be something not common to Ex's, so all of you actually DID help me! Still the best forum around! I will go back to lurking now.
