mine looks like that at beginning but it's actually 2 pieces together. I used a 6" 3jaws gear puller to take them off. take me 5 hours. it's pain, believe me.
2WD or 4WD and model year would be very helpful. I used a 5 lb sledge with a 3 foot handle on my 03 4x4. A couple wacks on the corner of the hat section popped mine right off.
It's not held on by the bolt. I beat the heck out of mine before it finally come off, but there is a posting somewhere on this site I saw afterward with a pretty slick procedure for removing them.
4x4 once you remove the wheel and brake caliper/ bracket rotor should pop off, however they have been known to rust fast. Sometimes they will pop off with a BFH and others may need to be cut off.
This works great if not too rusted, tried with my 97 and had so much tension on caliper bracket thought it was gonna snap. Then took the sawzall to it and was off in 2min.
I saw you said you took a sawzall and it popped right off. Where did you cut or what did you cut. I need major help. I have been trying the bolt throught the caliper bracket trick and NOTHING. It won't budge. I DO NOT remove the nut behind the dustcap, correct?? The guy at Autozone said yeah but I figured he had no idea what he was talking about. That is for the bearings, right??
Anyways please someone help I have no clue what to do next. This has been a 2 day project already and I'll be on day 3 tomorrow. Thanks all.

Dustcap? If you have a 2WD Expedition then yes, you need to remove the dustcap, the cotter pin, and then spin the center nut off. On 2WD models, the hub and rotor are one assembly.
