Does anyone else sometimes feel like their regular cab is too small? Well atleast for passengers. I think the cab is like 60/40. I just know tall people dont like riding shotgun in my truck. I think the super dutys eliminated this problem.
I'm 6'1" and FAT, but I've never had any trouble with the size of the cab. Of course, I've only had supercab trucks, and that extra space behind the seat really does make things feel more open.
What does bug me about the passenger side of these gen trucks is the lack of a grab handle.
I'm 6'3" and I sometimes wish my truck was an extended cab so I could have more leg room. The main problem in my case though is that I have two 10" subs in a truck box behind my seat so it can't be pushed back all the way. I love the look of a SC/LB truck though so I'll make small sacrifices where I need to.
I'm 6' and have spent a lot of time on both sides of the cab. I've got a boring old bench, which is also a good place to sleep in the summer, with my feet hanging out the driver side window.

I'm 6'3 as well and always felt "squeezed" into my F-150 reg cab. But in my F-250 Ext cab I have plenty of room.
I'm 6' and have only had extended cabs and never felt like they were small. Its probably just the seat against the back of the cab that makes if feel small. I now have a centurion 150 and have lots of room so I can't complain.
If anyone feels cramped in their early '90's F-truck, there's always a late '90's Ram, I always feel really really small sitting in the neighbor's 2500. Too small.
My 96 350 was a standard cab. I hated sitting straight up and down like that. My 95 is extended cab so I can recline. I like it better. I'm only 5 foot 8 so the issue wasn't leg room but rather being able to recline.

I always thought the default angle of the bench back was the perfect angle for a seat to be at when driving. As a passenger, I slid my rear end forward on the seat, put my feet on the dash, and got comfortable.
The reg cab is a good size for normal sized people but it's not too friendly for apes like me at 6'4" with a 36" inseam. As a result I went shoping for an extended cab after I lost my red truck in a wreck and have never been happier. Incidentally I test drove a regular cab truck with buckets in it and there was quite a bit less leg room than there is with a bench.
I can deffinatly feel more room in my crew cab over my lightning. But my 86 reg cab has more room than my crew cab. The 80s dash was so small in comparison, it gives you alot more room in the cab
I lifted my seat 3" in the front and 2" in the rear, the added height and slight tilt to the back made it a whole lot more comfortable. Of course I also drive with my steering wheel all the way up, so I can simply lay one hand on the wheel and still steer it with ease. I'm right about 6' tall and the seat ain't even touching the back wall of the cab - basically the space you lack in cab length you can make up for in height by trading your low-sitting car-like driving position with a bit more upright posture like you would be in a big truck. The lack of storage space behind the seat I compensate with a large toolbox in the bed.
I'm close to 6ft and 190 lbs. Mine does feel a bit cramped at times. I wish the seat would go back another inch or so. I had subs before and they got ripped off. That was the best thing ever, because I never really used them and the seat was not all the way back. The leg room sucked with that. I have no subs now and its just about right.
I also agree that a toolbox is a must with a regular cab truck. I thought about raising the seat, but the the door arm rest won't line up with the center arm rest.

Aren't the pedals still in the same location though, so there really isn't any more leg room right.
