Rotor Size

Hey folks , got another question. I'm running stock disc brakes on the front of my truck from an 81 Malibu and I'm getting a set of 17 " rims and tires the 15th of this month. Do I have to upgrade to bigger disc's and calipers, or can I leave it like it is?

The size of the rims would have nothing to do with the rotors and calipers provided they fit over them and are the correct bolt pattern. Your brakes should be fine.

The rolling mass of big wheels (20"-26")will have an effect on stopping force needed, but I don't think 17" wheels will cause any issues on your set up. Nice truck by the way.
