94 f250 rear disc swap

Need to completley redo the rear brakes on my truck, I'm considering swapping to disc, did the trucks ever come with disc before they went to the metric bp? Can the stuff from the metric years swap over and I use. Non metric disc?

All the OBS trucks use rear drums. IMO if you get everything working properly on your drum brakes, they're fine.
The 99-up trucks are notorious for warped rotors.

No dice, blackbird custom makes a rear disc for these trucks. I bought one years ago but havent installed it yet.

Except for the F-Super Duty (Dana 80 axle).

OP- Here's a link to a conversion using your axle (I think you have the Sterling 10.25 (8 lugs)):

im aware that the vans had it (im runng a e350 rear in my Cherokee)but there a d60 with d70 outers so it wouldnt work with the 10.25,looks like the drums will be the best choice, thanks guys

i was just thinking for the rotors. though someone on some forum used a van axle and cut the brackets off and welded them to the sterling and then ran all the van things. to much work but it has been done.

just giving information

Agreed. As long as the shoes are adjust properly, I have yet to be in any 3/4-1ton truck that will out stop my 4 OBS F350s
