I don't know man, do you really think it's worth 3500? I'm not flaming, just sayin. You got some rust on it, paint is in bad condition, you towed with it, 148,000 miles, some 'jerry rigs' with the switches and it's got some slow auto hubs ad it's see salty roads. Also, the interior doesn't look too clean. I'd clean the interior and post those pictures on ebay. Again, I'd rethink the price. Maybe start at a low reserve and see what you can get.

i hear ya ethan. but hear me out. kelly blue book puts my truck between 3750 and 4100. ford are rather known for their less-than-adequate paint in the early 90s. of course i towed with it, what are trucks with a tow/haul package for? the truck has been well maintained by myself, and the previous owners, id say there are at least another 100,000 miles left in this truck. admittedly, there ARE some "jerry rigs" with the toggles, but i took my time and did them right. where i was at, and when the switch went out, i didnt have the luxury of bein able to buy and put the proper switch in. if you read the description, i stated that i purchased a set of manual hubs for it. i am on spring break=i have free time. the hubs will be installed, in all likelihood, by wednsday evenin. there are two spots of rust on the whole truck. it was exposed to salty roads for A year. i still drive this truck. it is the only vehicle i have here in north dakota. if i drove it everyday, it would be a daily driver, and it used to be just that. of course the interior is goin to have my stuff in it and be a little dirty. means its bein used. when a/the buyer comes to get it, it will be detailed, cleaned out, and ready to accept its new owner. finally, i set the startin bid. i have no reserve on it. keep in mind, im lookin for enough to get another good, reliable vehicle (and i have one picked out), and have some left over to go to my school bills. so im not gonna just set the startin bid at 1000 and get a handful of pennies for it. hell, if i wanted that, id just yank the motor and sell IT. get almost 1500 for the motor and tranny alone.

Well man, even with that reasoning.. I can't say its worth 3500.. I mean, no offence. But you might consider lowering the price a bit.
And unless that motor is modified and that tranny is a ZF, I don't think you'll get $1500 for them, not around here anyways.

I think part of that is a sentimental value, like my F-350, my friends swear up and down its a pile of crap, but I love it. I wouldn't ever let it go cheap. You should be as hard on it as you can while figuring a KBB price, take the condition quiz, be harsh. Go under KBB value and you'll have a decent price.

But hey, good luck selling it. I hope you get what your asking.

Yea sorry but there is no way your going to get $3500 for it.

Put starting bid at $1500 reserve at 2k

I feel the same way, but you can hardly ever get back what you put into them. The exception would be its restored, or has a new engine or transmission. Even if the condition is better now than when you bought it, its value has only gone down in the real world. I would say that $2500 sounds feasible.
