My nieghbor spent at least 20 minutes this morning breaking ice off his windows so he could go to church this morning. There are chunks at least 1 1/2" thick laying on the ground.
I'm going to wait for it to melt off my windows, since i have no place to be for awhile.
I miss snow wheeling. We used to go every other weekend up in the Sierras, break trail on the Rubicon or Fordyce, or just go play in the riverbed at Red Dog.
There's a gun show coming up on the 27&28 at the Empire fair grounds. http://rkshows.com/coupon.htm

Hey - do I qualify for the "You got to be NUTS!" award? I spent the weekend at Montauk State Park with the family camping out and trying my hand at trout fishing. Had a great time, but got soaked packing up the camper this morning and setting it up when we got home. I was kind of hoping to see a little of the white shtuff just so I could officially say that I've camped in the snow. Lots of rain and cool temps, but no frozen stuff.
It finally happened... The drain line from the kitchen which is not sloped well is backed up with gunk. So I'm ripping it out tomorrow after work and replacing it with a properly sloped line. Yay me...
