Hey, Bud I've been tinkering out in the garage, even straightened up my tool box a little. Then my wife says my car has a flat, get half soaked inflating the tire. Bring it in the garage, pull the tire. Now I can't find anybody to fix it, prob. the only thing I don't like about living in the country. The hatch isn't opening either so I might as well check that out while it's raining and nothing else to do.

OOPS, I guess I was lucky. Learn something new everyday. I guess thats why I have old crap.

mabe your luck is better than mine, 1st time I jumped something with a modern alternater on it, cooked it, and cost me $180. have not tried that one since.

OH!!!!! So THAT'S why I had to replace my Alternator after you tried to jump start MY Lincoln without telling me about that little bug-a-boo??????

it's the one doing the jump. we used my 86. I thought you replaced the alternater on there BEFORE it died on the tunnel thruway?

I think any with voltage regulater internal, somewhere around 86 for the fords
