Yes, pork shoulder I think. It makes great pulled pork sandwiches. I smoke them for about 7 hours.

Heck at times it is on sale for 98 cents a pound. A really good deal. My kids say I have the smoking process down pretty good. I use hickory chips. I want to try apple chips one time.

Smoking stuff is good. I just got a new grill that cooks with propane or charcoal and you can smoke with it. I smoked a couple turkeys for the last two Thanksgivings.

ive got a grill thats almost as old as i am lol... that one burns charcoal... were on our 2nd gas grill...

I know gas grills don't last long. My smoker is propane and I can do pretty good with that.
