I'm getting out of contest management. I have too much on my plate.

I know that Anthony (76f350scs) loves doing these, and I think you'll be in good hands with his talent onboard.

He knows just about as much about winding these things up and making them go as I do myself, but also has a fresh viewpoint.

But I now have a small farm to run, among other projects such as renovating my humble shack.

I'm sure you will...

Oh by the way! Did you notice that I miss-spelled "MOB" in the thread title?

I have motivation to get people in the contests.
If I put as much time energy and effort as I did in anything as I put into these contest's, I'd be an A+ student...
That's a good thing!

I tell ya what - my own prime motivation in these, was to learn as much as I could about "ONLINE PRESENTATIONS" using whatever media was available.

Now, I DON'T KNOW if that is one of your classes - but everything you learn doing this is USEFUL...

Isn't it?

If it isn't a class you are currently taking - maybe you should talk to one of the guidance councilors and find one that is JUST ABOUT this kind of stuff. That way you are killing two birds with one stone...

(I guarantee ya)

You have an undeniable talent for all of this - YOU REALLY SHOULD EXPLOIT IT - even in the real world.

"If you are GOOD at something, and it is FUN - you might as well GO THERE!"

There are highly paid jobs out there for people who can work "INTERNET". If you are one - you can make money with your MIND instead of the sweat off your back...

Think about it!

Nice clothes
Nice truck
New Bass Pro Shop catalog every year
Working in Air Conditioning...

It realistically could be YOU!

You don't really have to know how to program - all you need to know is how to:

"PRESENT THINGS"

I know, Graphic Engineers make $40.00 an hour.
I'm Not taking any classes on the subject at hand, I don't need to, I try things, If they work, they work, The best way to learn is through experience.

yeah, but if you get it documented and certified, there is no telling how far you can go with it.

WITHOUT those credentials, you'd be kinda screwed - even if you have a track record of doing it well.

Besides - Not only might it be an easy class for you (where you can WOW the teachers) you just might find out new stuff you can exploit - in fact I would COUNT ON THAT.

Stuff even I have no idea of....

Consider it....

You don't have to be an underachiever - if you find a thing you like and it really helps you in stuff you are doing online....

GRAB IT UP!

CONSIDER: RIGHT NOW, it is FREE

COLLEGE costs BOO-COO dinero....

I have noticed many times through the years that what we know doesn't matter unless someone else somewhere says: "YES HE DOES!"

We call that credentials...

ASK YOUR Pop what he thinks about these posts - because what I see is a young man who will be phenominally well paid one day.
- If you work it right.

Is it the 14th yet?

I'd have given it midnight tomorrow...

But you're right! That old 2 month rule I laid down applies.

NO ENTRIES? DONE!

ONE ENTRY? Default win....

TWO WEEKS?

You are either in or out.....

I put it that way so that the rules were plain, it was a level playing field, and their was never any question of favoritism.

IT AIN'T MY FAULT!

You just go with what you have....

And always forever try to hold to the schedule..... There are only so many months in the year.

1st to the 14th - ENTRY!

After that it was just plain ON...

Think of it this way: If you get to a race track too late for the qualifying heats you just can't run - can you?

I looked at it just like Sprint Car Races long ago

NO LATE ENTRIES! The RACE is gonna run....
