Replaced my air filter, and the Auto Zone book said that the K&N, E-0945 is the right one.
When I went to replace the old one, the old one was shorter and wider at the paper.
The new one seemed to go further into the air intake and had a mesh on it.
The fit was snug and okay from the out side, but I was wondering in the size is correct.
Just asking.
Thanks,
Mike
I'm not sure but I think that there is only one K&N filter that fits the V-10 for your year, after 2006 though I am not sure what the air filter configuration looks like.
On a off topic, have you looked at AFE air filters and intakes? They make a dry filter that does not need to be oiled after cleaning, and soap and water is all that is needed for a full wash-down, and the filter only needs to be dry when reinstalled.
