I was having some problems with my 6.0 bucking at a slight acceleration form 50-60 mph wile tranny was in overdrive. It was time to change oil so I changed fuel filters too thinking this might help the problem. But now the truck misses at idle and bucks a lot from 45-65mph under acceleration and at steady throttle. Did I miss something when changing filters? I'm at a loss on this. Anybody have any ideas
was tring to keep the truck out of the dealer, use the truck for work With out the truck I loose money. I want to know if I did some thing wrong, I cycled the key a few times and it started right up but now it misses
I did some searching here and it looks like I might have an injector problem, so it looks like I will be with out the truck for a week.
Possible you could be sucking air. Take cap off the top filter and see if it is full of fuel. If not have someone do key on and see if it fills without sucking air. ie; air bubbles.
Sounds like a hairline crack in one of the caps on the fuel filters. Have to remember fuel molecules are larger than air molecules. If not cracked - then as stated take it in as we are guessing.
