The smoke is there due to how it is "tuned" to get it quiet. It shouldn't be obnoxious though.

Humm, might have Jody take a look at that if you are going to be near the live tuning event in Spokane. I have a little smoke after being in it a while, not much just a small haze. Like I said, not a huge issue. It's definitely not bellowing out though like yours is. Now my CCV is another story.

I've got a question for you Diane kinda a hijack though. I'm gonna order an F6 in the next 3-4 days and I was wondering if you have to take the chip off the PCM to be able to update. Or if there is a usb cord that is also run through the firewall so that you can update it while its in the truck. I tried to find it on the site but wasn't successful.

sweet deal Chase, that is the exact answer that I was hoping for. It was gonna be cool to update the chip all on my own but it would be even better to not have to pull it out. Thanks Chase.

The DP Tuner drive thru tune really quiets down the engine noise a LOT. The drawback is, as mentioned, the obnoxious smoke. It's not so bad in the summer, but in the winter with cold temps I could fog out the entire Bank parking lot. And god help me if the wind was blowing toward the canopy then everyone there was hurredly closing thier windows.
