Exhaust Nut size

Well i finaly got my truck on the road and legal. I now need to get 2 new nuts for the Exhaust manifold to pipe. There are 2 studs there but the nuts are missing. Any idea what size nut and thread i need to replace them and should i use washers on them to hold them.

Shoot, i believe they were 5/8 or 9/16. On the other side just throw on a socket to check.

i need the thread size cause i need to pick them up while i am in town. and i haven't packed my tools in my truck yet

3/8 stud shank X 16 pitch thread size X 1.75" long

So i may be off on the nut size. With the size of stud and thread pitch they should be able to math it out. Hope that is better.

I believe you will find that the studs are 7/16 National Coarse threads.

it was pulled from the ford manual on parts. If he messed up then it is possible, but unlikely.
