SLR Performance Chip
So i rently have been looking at a few upgrades for my 99 f150 with a 5.4, i have done T.B.S. maybe an intake, programmer.
So i found this SLR Programmer, +50hp +50 ft lb +3-6mpgs, all for $70 with a 60 day 100% money back garuntee.
I guess most programmers tell the engine that the air coming in is colder than it actually is giving you a slight boost in numbers, and have modes you can switch between.
SLR is all automatic you dont controll it, it adjusts fuel air mixture so you are not running to lean or to rich, resulting in the maxium horsepower and torque.
So i guess my question is what do you think? Does anyone have one?

When SLR claimed that they tune the engine, rather than lie about the air temp, it made sence that it would work better. I think i will stay away from chips in gassers.

I purchased a chip from SLRMOTORSPORTS for my truck and returned it back to them with the needed RA# they gave me and they never credited my credit card and haven't responded to any emails. I'm out the $70.00 for the chip. They have the chip and my money and won't respond to my emails. They have a PO box for an address and no phone number listed. I should have known it was a scam. I wouldn't do any business with them again. SLRMOTORSPORTS are thieves and they are running a scam.
