I remember reading about this happening to someone else. In the end he disconnected the batteries and that reset the computer thing-a-ma-bob and that took care of it.
hope it works for you.

I believe you'll need to take the actuator apart again, take the white plastic end piece (of the motor which held the foil wrapped repair), and spin it 180 degrees. Pretty sure that should restore it to correct phase.

Yep, that will fix it. The end of the motor techically should fit only one way, If you have it wrong, their will be a open space on one side.

I thought it was bad at first too, but then I took off the inside and outside door handles and realized that there was lots of room inside that door panel. I can get my arms to anywhere in that door, and manuver tools and parts. Try this on a compact car! can't hardly get a hand inside to feel a thing.

Here's the link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...cks-fixed.html

(Pics are on the second page of the thread.)

All you need is a tiny piece of foil and a means to re-secure the actuator. I did it with zip ties.

You're welcome. Once you do one, the rest will go way quicker. I did mine a bit over a year ago and they're still working strong. Not bad for a significant fix that cost nothing but my time.

The light green connector on the bottom right of the pic, thats where the small end of that rod goes, I believe.

Uh oh. I believe that is correct that the small end goes into the green clip. But you might have to pull passenger door panel off to look at orientation. Unfortunately I don't have any pics. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.
