theres no such thing as that ratio
i think 600 will be more then plenty
i want it to be street legal
ive been thinking about lockers but i want to get the lift done first
its aparent you haven't researched, 44" boggers will only slow you down unless your packing atleast 1500 ponies to the ground...
Truff cakes.
Street legal wont be a problem most cops are lazy and wont wanna climb up your truck to write you a ticket.
ya'll are just jealous that im gonna have a real truck while your is soft!!!
thanks alot of all the help.....i thought this was a off road forum...but i guess not.
just a place full of azzholes that think they know everything.....

Its a known fact that i know everything.
This is an off-road section your right, sorry your to extreme for us around here....

one problem with this comment. these guys do know everything, and hell ya your truck is gonna be badass cruisin the mall man. just so no one has to put you through more hell. go to broncograveyard. they will have a 9 inch lift suspension lift for about 1000 and then get yourself a 3 inch body lift, so you can clear your 44s and youll have the truck your wanting, which isnt saying a whole lot.
Booger these guys are hating on you because I do not believe you understand that your ttb front end will twist like a pretzel with 44" tires and 600 hp. Say bye-bye to the axles quicker if you plan on putting lockers in them. You are going to need a dana 60 in the front and a sterling 10.25 in the back for the 44s if these guys on this forum will even answer your questions reasonably. So it might be in your best interest to look into how to accomplish this with your goals in mind.
So, that means I can run a 60" tire on my D60? SWEET!!!! LOL
You guys have it all wrong... All he needs is another frame, cuz 2 is always better than one you know....
In all seriousness, you don't just slap a lift on an F150 for 44's, yes, you can do it, BUT, nothing will hold up.
With 600hp, 1 ton axles are going to be necessary, gearing should be 5.xx, suspension, well, with 1 tons under a F150, nothing in the front is going to be bolt on no matter what you do. You can't just slap a set of 44's on a truck and expect things to work, you have to build the truck and drive train to handle the tires.
Hey bud ill shoot you some straight info on this. Your axles wont hold up to 44's with 600 hp, hell your 302 could nuke them in low range. I saw a 80hp 20R Toyota motor break a shaft on a Chevy Dana 60! He was only running 40s. Your looking to spend a lot of money on getting your truck set up for 44s with that big block, at least 8gs would be my guess, and that is if you do all the work your self, and take your time looking for good deals on parts. I would at least do a Dana 60/10.25 swap with leaf springs all around. To get you rolling i would find a F350 of similiar year to your truck at the junk yard, take the matching set of axles, and yokes for the transfer case, and rear springs. Then search on here to figure out steering and a track bar.Go to Sky manufacturing, and get the shackle reversal for a F350, find some front lift springs for a super duty, and measure everything out for a good shackle angle. For the rear go buy your self some big lift springs. Consider traction bars for the rear. For the big block swap, you will need new towers under the hoot, a new transmission, a bunch of wiring if you want to keep EFI, or you could go with a carb. You are going to have to get drive shafts made. You will still end up cutting up the body if you plan on doing anything where the suspension will actually move. 33' tires at full flex will take up the whole wheel well, no way in hell 44's will fit. That should be a decent start, you will still have a boat load of other issues to figure out but that should get you drive able.
Sorry guys, I guess we should all fess up so others don't think that everyone in here knows nothing. The original poster "bogger1966" is a long time user & offroader messing with us and 99% of the guys posting in this thread knew it.
Okay Nick, this joke thread has been exposed so you can come out of the closet now.
