why can't you put a body lift on a diesel? what is different? please highlight me. is it just some sort of saftey issue? i have looked and looked and without trying and tearing stuff down; do not see why i can't install one on a 2000 ford diesel.

The charge air cooler connections are were the issue lies I believe. Some people have done it, you just need to make the alterations for the charge air cooler.

That would make it easier to work on the engine.

Would it? Obviously the engine is a bit lower but I can't remember if that help with working on the sides of the engine. The room to work on the top of the engine and the turbo would be a nice increase in space but what about have to pull a valve cover or exhaust manifold?

Anyone have any thoughts or experience?

Where do you get a body lift for a diesel super duty

I was just wondering if anyone knew where to get a 3" body lift for a diesel super duty or has put one in with some more detailed pics of the steering and the intercooler and intercooler tube routing? thank you

With all that extra room to access to engine bay, shouldn't it make it easier to clean the motor up a bit????
