recently my 93 f350 with 460 started acting up badly. I went ahead and scanned it and it came up with
DTC: 111,122,128,172,211,212,332.
So far i've fixed 111,122,128. I cant figure out 212(loss idm input to pcm) 212(pip cicuit fault) what they both are.
I think 172 is a old code as i have fixed the ho sensor last fall. and the 332(egr) i think has a bad plunger.
As it runs now still, the truck looses power after i shift gears untill it gets up to power, has a big loss of power, smells rich/fumy and will choke out/sputter under a heavy load(pushing heavy snow) and will die unless i 2 foot it.
Ford Fuel Injection Stator (RPM) Here is some info on the PIP signal (code 211).
According to my list 212 is erratic tach or possible SPOUT circuit fault.
I am no expert but you should unplug the SPOUT connector and check that it is a dead short (as it should be). If this circuit is open the computer will not advance the timing.
