COMCAST BUNDLE???

I'm not really happy with how much I'm paying for cable/internet/phone. I'm thinking of switching to a COMCAST bundle...the $119.99 package.

Currently I'm paying approximately $84 for Verizon DSL/Phone...no long distance...and approximately $65 for COMCAST expanded basic service...no digital/HD/movie channels.

Anyone else have COMCAST bundle??? What do you think of it???

I have Comcast triple play.
Service is great and the internet speeds are fast enough to support watching a movie via Netflix online with only a slight degredation in video quality.
Some of the movies are HD quality and they look like you are watching a DVD, but it is streaming over the internet.
I have a Tivo and use it as the cable box instead of relying on thier cable.
It end up being a wash cost wise because the Tivo service is $129.00 a year vs the Comcast DVR service.

I hate the cost of cable and internet!

I have BASIC cable (10 channels) and internet and it costs me $65 a month.

My gf has digital starter + HBO and internet and hers is $100 a month.

Seems a little ridiculous to me - the sad part is I tried to find something more reasonable for her and there ISN'T anything. If you get expanded basic and internet it still costs you $100 a month...sheesh!

I've had Comcast for 6-7 years. Service has been reliable, internet speeds are good. I only have the basic internet 6 meg service but it's plenty for what we do with 4 computers (1 is wireless)

I have the expanded tv package with starz/encore. TV service is pretty good. I had fewer problems with pixalation with Dish Network. I believe Comcast compress's the signal too much but all in all, I can live with it. I dropped the phone package a few years ago. Wife and I are empty nesters and only use cell phones to keep in contact with family and what few other calls we make. No need for a landline.

I wish the Comcast promo prices were the normal prices. I feel the promo prices are what the service is actually worth. Our promo was around $76 for TV and internet for 1 year then jumped to around $124. Seriously thinking about only keeping the internet and going back to Dish Network for TV. Internet would go up to $52 month but TV would be less than $40 per month.

Seems like they all have about the same practices. Promo price's to woo you in then after a year you look at the price and your eyes fall outta your head!!

so thats 4.13 a day if you only use tv and internet for 2 hours thats 2.065 per hour
we charge 125 per hour to go out and fix something on the cable system.
dont forget for every channel you get they pay for even locals cost them per subscriber
and lets not forget the millions and millions it cost Comcast to upgrade there head ends to go dig.
im ranting but its what i do for a living and i want a raise

We've had Comcast cable TV, well, forever. (Ever since it was offered, anyway!)

Comcast cable internet - we've had for about 9 years. We used to have AOL, until one Thanksgiving, I couldn't get online. . .the entire weekend.
AOL tried to tell me that I had a problem w/ my pc. (NOT!!!)

So, the ONLY issue I have with Comcast. . . during the 'blizzard', we lost cable and internet service for 2 days.
Telephone. . . I'm still with "Ma Bell" (telephone lines) and no loss of service.

Verizon just ran FIOS through my neighborhood, but, they are EXPENSIVE compared to Comcast.

I'm keeping things the way they are.
