wire changes

When I change my truck to 12 volt all the way will I need to change the coil to a 12 volt coil also or will it have anything to do with the points in the distributer. The coil now has a reducer hooked to it as some of the truck has been changed from 6 volts to 12 volts allready but I don't know how much has and how much hasn't so I'm going ahead and rewiring the whole thing. I am running a 1952 F1 239 flathead. Just don't want to mess something up or buy a 12 volt coil if I don't have to.

Most of the stuff on the trucks is pretty hard to hurt!
