I have husky floor liners on my last truck and liked them, but found them a little slippery and my heal would tend to wander. On long drives it was a bit annoying.
The hard rubber mats that came with my fx4 are very nice, I don't think you will have any trouble with your feet slipping, I can post pics now since I'm on my iPhone but I think i have some in my gallary or check out ford web site for pics
I had the ford mats when I first got my truck. The driver's side wore out at the heel area within 6000 miles. They gave me a second set after alot of hassle ( saying I pushed down too hard with my heel haha). The second set wore just as fast. You could see a pile of mat material develope under my feet like pencil eraser crumbs.I got the Husky and have had no problems.Btw, I wear wolverine boots or sneakers and my shoes and mats are always clean, no grit or sand. And even if they weren't, they're mats. They should be able to handle that stuff. I've had trucks with mats during my heavier construction days that seemed to last forever.I still have a '94 bronco with 180,000 miles on its second set. I wouldn't get them. Others mileage may very. I agree with Dan. I bought a 2010 XLT back in October and ordered the black rubber F150 floor mats like the ones that come with the FX4. My truck isn't a daily driver so it doesn't see a lot of use and the floor mats are already wearing out. To me it doesn't look like the mats are heavy rubber, but blue plastic with a thin black rubber coating. The first week I had the mats I noticed a couple of blue spots on the mat. It was actually where the thin black rubber had torn and you could see the blue plastic underneath. I would go with one of the aftermarket mats. They will probably be twice as much, but I think they will be worth it compared to the Ford mats.
I don't know what kind of mats the previous guys are talking about, but my FX4 mats are very thick and heavy duty feeling rubber. I guess there is another type of mat offered in other trim levels, so I cannot speak about them, but MY mats are great... And I also have the Husky Liners in my old truck.
I test drove a truck that had the full coverage rubber mats (in the back in plastic) and they seemed heavy duty. I was looking into getting them from the dealer because they are less than half the cost of huskyliner or weathertec. Now I'm not sure.
I have the new Husky Liners ( weather beaters) and they r almost identical to these. The only difference I can tell is the rear mat is not quite as wide in mine. 09 F150 XLT
I have the factory full coverage mats and like them alot. I did not know about the digifits when I ordered them, but I balked at the price when I later saw them. I only paid $80 or so for the Ford mats. If I tracked in a lot of mud (which I don't), I would not hesitate to get the digifits since they cover a good bit more than the Ford mats, and appear to have good drainage. The Ford mats do not drain.

Reason: typo
I didn't like the price of the digitalfit WeatherTechs, the way they seemed to sit up at the sill, and I thought the back one might be slippery for the dogs. I liked the Catch-all full coverage carpet type mat but they don't make a full coverage one for the back so thought I'd start with these OEM's - if the fronts wear out then I have an excuse to get the more expensive Catch-all's.
I'm told that WeatherTech makes these rubber mats for Ford.
Here are some pics (I added the silver lettering) -
