DONT START

Had a problem plowing snow this morning. I hit a curb and it jolted the truck. She dyed! It would crank over but no fire and the glow plug light did not turn on. I jumped the glow plug cylionoid with a wire and it fired. Then had to take off the jumper to kill the engine.
Any body had this problem before. Or any idea what happened?

Have you checked the fuses ?. #22 under the hood in particular. If its blown, you need to unplug the fuel heater ...

right on! the jolt made the fuel heater move and short out inside the filter bowl.

I checked all the fuses in the cab. But not under the hood. It happened 3am and all I had for light was a cell phone. I will check it out.

id check fuse 22 happened to me a few time. except while driving on a cold day it just shut down.
