I need help!

I have a 69 F100, 360, 3 on the tree. I haven't had it long though, but I've fixed the exhaust, or lack of, re-tuned the carb, and had it running ok for about a week or so. Now it just shuts off, just like you turned the key off, its intermittent, sometimes it does it while idling, sometimes going down the road, push the clutch, turn the key and it comes back, most of the time. New cap, points, rotor, not plugs yet, but I'm stuck. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I had this happen once and it took awhile to find, mine turned out to be a bare spot on the coil wire and every once in a while it would short against the air cleaner. Just something to check.
