Tire questions for 2007 F-250- 20" wheel

I am in need of new tires on my 2007 F-250. I have the factory 20" wheels. I am looking for a good all around AT tire. My driving is probably 80/20 on road/off road. However, when I do go offroad it is fairly muddy. I also want something that will get fairly decent tread life, but with an aggressive look (is there such a thing?).

I've also thought about bigger tires. One other question is how much can I go up in size without a lift? The stock tires were 275/65/20.

Thanks for any advice.

I would suggest a bfgoodrich all terrain T/A, they're a great tire and look really good on the truck. They're fairly quiet and the tread life is good. My dad just had to replace his rears on his expy after 50,000. And I also recently got a set put on my 08 250. These tires are the best on/offroad tire in my opinion. If you want something a little more agressive I would check out a Cooper discoverer stt. They're a little louder going down the road, but look cool and perform well. Not sure about tread life though. Other than that I don't know.

As far as size, the tires I just put on my 250 are a 305/65r18 with no rubbing issues. Roughly 34" x 12" and they look a lot meatier on the truck. I believe I have a pic in my gallery of it, and if you want to see more I can put some on here.

If you would like to compare tire sizes use 1010tires.com tire size calculator

The BFG AT KO is a good tire, but not in mud. The pack up something fierce and don't clean well. So, if mud is 20% of your driving I'd opt for the BFG MT KM2. I dunno though, either of those tires are likely going to serve you well, the AT KO on road/offroad and the MT KM2 off/on road.

Thanks a lot, guys. Having the 20" wheels makes the sizing a little difficult.

Tires

I just purchased a set of Nitto Tera Grapplers. They look aggressive and ride like a car! You will really like them. I paid around $850 for a set of 4 installed on a set of factory 20" Harley's

I also bought the Terra Grapplers for my 20" wheels and I've been very happy with them. But I paid a lot more than that $850. You got a really good price!
