no offense---but why a remote start in the sunshine state???--it cant possibly take any time to warm-up---other than that--i would look for an installer that has been around a loooong time and go with what they recommend
Even though I do travel alot outside Florida hunting, It's just nice to start your rig and get her fluids to operating temps while you get your bodies temp up with.....................coffee. Think it would be neat to have one.
A big X2, love mine for all weather. I had mine installed, I could have done mine myself but I like the idea of having a qualified tech install it professionally and get a lifetime warranty to boot. Believe it or not, its not that much more to get it installed by a pro then doing yourself, just IMO. Here's where I got mine, lifetime warranty alarm and remote start for 400.00, 6 years ago. Auto and Truck alarms and remote car starters for Chester County and Wilmington Delaware
I have had a Code-A-Alarm in my truck sense day one. At the end of the third year I started to have un-lock, lock issues so I replaced the battery s in the FOP. That did n't solve the problem so I took my truck for service. Code-A-Alarm said They could not fix the unit but replaced everything including wiring and switches under warranty. My truck has never failed to start. Got to stick with those guys, they were super.
