17* HPOP

Probably dumb question but will any year (99-03) 7.3 17*HPOP work on my truck or is there a difference in them? Just checking before I would get one. I know a guy that has a bunch of used ones and want to know what I all need. Is it just the pump or is there lines and accessories I need?

Thanks guys.

All you need is the pump and the appropriate gasket/o-rings. Also, any year (99-03) will work.

Im not sure on any #'s but usually if they are used 17* pumps off a Super Duty, they will have the quick connect style fittngs. this is a pretty accurate way to tell. (But not 100%!!)

Does this swap hight on oil pressure? how much? would you still need to do a performance HPOP down the road if you do most major mods (intake, exaust, chip, injectors, fuel, HPOP)?

I'm in SD and he lives in Sioux Falls. Give him a call, he's a nice guy and buys wrecked super duties and parts them out. His name is Brian and number is 605-334-2008. Business is called Home Run Auto.

I haven't talked to him yet but if you do pm me and let me know what he wants for one. I'm what you call pms broke right now so I am going to wait till this summer to get one.

X2 on the '99-'03 any model. That is except for the earl '99 models. They still have the 15° pump.

BTW anybody wanting to get rid of their old pumps, I am looking for used pumps. It doesn't matter if it is 15° or 17° or even if it works or not. The only thing is the case has to be intact. Feel free to contact me if you have one you want to get rid of.
