Uh...what's the problem with the ad? I don't see anything wrong with it...except that Interceptor is mis-spelled.
ALL 1958/67 FE engines were called Interceptor's by FoMoCo in their literature, which included sales brochures, dealer facts books, shop manuals and parts catalogs.
The first use of the name Interceptor was in 1956, used for 312 Y block. 1957 passenger cars w/312's had a unique "Interceptor V" dash emblem...was installed above the ashtray.
