2002 Remote problem
My remote's keep going out and I re-program them with the ignition procedure, and sometimes they will go 1 day or a week and then quit again; I put new batteries in them but made no difference. None of buttons will work when it goes, but all buttons work fine when it works. I'm stummped on this one.

If the same symptoms apply to both/all remotes then the problem must lie in the Security Module. Not much you can do with that except have it checked for any DTC's at the dealer. Does the door keypad still work all of the time? You could borrow someone else's remote and program it to your vehicle and see if the same occurs or buy one off of ebay and program it.

The keypad works all the time; I am wondering if there is a microwave or radio signal or another automobile remote in the neighborhood that is causing this. This morning my remote worked fine but wife's did not, so I reprogrammed hers again. I will see how it goes for a while.
