Fuel pressure gauge

Well, since my EGT gauge fixed itself I am going with a matching FP gauge instead of the Insight. I know, its about time I got one. So I'm ordering it from DieselManor Autometer Gauge Image
I am going to call to order it so I make sure I get everything I need to mount it in the cab. I guess my question is, has anyone found one any cheaper than this? Price is @ $245 for the gauge, adapter and 8' harness. I will need the braided line I guess, which I believe is additional, but how much do I need? Summit is more IIRC. I'll order it later this morning so if anyone has any advice I'll receive it before I order. TIA- Tim

Auto Meter Ultra-Lite Gauges at DieselManor Well maybe I was incorrect in the "adapter". Its a 1/8" sender ( will I still need the adapter then, or is this sender the adapter for the test port?), which is the same text in the link you provided as it is in Diesel Manors. It appears to be the same gauge and I "assume" it comes with the harness ( your link) to connect it. Your link doesn't say either way, but how can someone sell a gauge and the harness to connect it separately? I guess it is possible. Thanks for the link Rocky, I'll do some more investigating.

Last April I put in a fuel pressure gauge. I ordered from Diesel Manor the R5609R-KT ISSPRO fuel pressure gauge kit which includes the gauge and isolator for $139.95. I also ordered the R7963 ISSPRO metric adapter-M16x1.5 (male) x 1/8" NPT (female). For the braided hose, I ordered the ITP 6.0 FP fuel pressure adapter and hose kit for $37.95. I liked the ITP hose because it has a 45 degree hose end at the fuel filter for better clearence and the other end that connects to the isolator has a schrader valve to bleed off air in the line. Installation was pretty easy and the gauge workes great. Hope info heps you.

Thanks 03f2506.0. I think I'll just call DM here in a bit. I want to make sure I'm getting all the parts I need, plus I need a single or double pod for it (and a future gauge maybe?). I need to think about where I want to mount it also. I was thinking on the steering column since I have the triple pod on the pillar. Its my wifes birthday present to me. She told me to order it this am before she went to work, so I want to get it done before she changes her mind

Yea I was thinking the same thing. I could see it coming without the adapter. But It should come a least with a harness, I assume!!! but you know what happens when you assume!!!

I also have 3 gauges on the A pillar & put fuel pressure, water temp & volts in an Autometer under dash 3 gauge mount, AM-15018 ($42.99) from Dielsel Manor. Good luck and happy birthday.

Aww... thanks. Just checked ITP's website, they have it for $223 as opposed to Diesel Manors $245. $20 is a case of adult beverages for the install, and they're a site sponsor I will probably just get a single pod as I still might get the Insight down the road some, or the Dashdaq if I can afford it at that time.

I have the insight with the probe for EGT's. Works great, The only problem it doesn't show volts on the 03 for some reason. I called Edge and was told that the 03's are not supported for some reason. I still trying to find someone with the insight installed in there 03 and see if they are getting volts..
