sct x2 unlockable?

sct x2 unlockable?
is it possible to unlock a sct x2 that has been locked to another car? my buddy has one but he sold the mustang that used it and now it's locked to it's VIN...

The software that used to come with the xCal 2 had an unlock feature on it. It was the same software that you would use to load tunes on to it. On the bottom right(if I recall correctly) it used to have a button to unlock the device and a button to totally wipe out the device. The unlock didn't wipe it out though. I don't know if this was before or after the 5 unlocks before you have to send it back to SCT to unlock it a 6th time.
If you have a copy of that software, might could try that. It's no longer on SCTs website, it would have to be had from the CD that came with the xCal 2.
