What kind of deal did you get on it? F250 or F350?

 

Nice, although I would have gotten a moon roof but that's just me. Did you get the tan or black interior? That new King Ranch black interior looks pretty sweet I think.

Waiting for Ford to fix my Explorer so I can deal with two tasks on the same trip. Since they've had my Explorer for 7 days, who knows when that will be!

I got it for $1500 under invoice and that's including a $1000 rebete that they are giving me. Since nobody knows if or what the rebates are ,I am for sure getting the $1000 and if the rebates happen to be more, then I get more. So the price of the truck is around 58,000. They also offered mid 15's for my truck, an 06 f350 w/162k on it. All in all it was a good deal. The next dealer was $6002 more on the package.

I should probably say that they were 500 under invoice but are guarantee that I get a 1000 dollar rebate if ford offers it or not.

Basically the dealer is taking a gamble that ford is going to have a $1000 rebate available when these trucks go up for sale. I get the grand off if it's offered or not, and if it would happen to be more than a grand at the time to sign papers then of course I would recieve that also. Make any sense? I am not real good at putting thaughts to paper so please forgive me.

i heard a rumor of early order incentive of 1500.00 BUT that is just a rumor.
I know canada is getting 6500 early order incentive,but the truck cost more there too

 

1500 would be even nicer! I talked the the dealer that lost the bid and they couldn't believe they were out so far. They lost by $6002, not even close. It's amazing how some dealers just don't get it. The dealer that lost it is one of those cheesy smooth talking ( I'm screwing you look in his eyes) guys. The dealer that got it sells alot of trucks and are just to the point and gives you thier best deal first.

 

Any way to clarify this rumor? You know maybe dig and see if the source is reliable for the $1500 early order incentive

 

Yes Canada is getting a $6500 price break if you order before March 1st. It is a combination of a $5000 discount and a $1500 rebate. After that no one knows. This is from the dealer that quoted me $72500 MRSP for a CC SRW Short Box Loaded Lariat. So it's still $65500, I would be all over a new KR for 58K. Now I will wait for a year or so to get the year end discount.
