My 93 F150 has lived in the rust belt it's entire life. Alaska, Maine and Connecticut. The rear spring shackles are really rusty and I don't dare to drive it much until I replace them. OEM replacements are pretty costly and I was wandering if anyone knows of any aftermarket versions at a lower price. Thanks!
Thanks for the link.
I ordered a kit for my 1994 F-250 Super Cab on Friday afternoon and they were delivered on Tuesday. $125 delivered.
Hopefully they will last awhile - thinking about giving them a good coating of agricultural plow paint - similar to the old undercoating in a can material.
I just ordered a set too for my 96 2wd. 109 shipped. thanks for the link. I also spoke on the phone with them, they were friendly. I should have them tomorrow according to ups.
Thanks all. I went with ATS. I installed the rears a couple of weeks ago and hope to do the fronts sometime this week. As for living in the rust belt, I have seen new vehicles start to rust in a couple of years. You would think people would wash them a little more often. I see some people driving around with a salt covered vehicle weeks after a storm.

It never occurs to me to wash anything... that's what drain oil is for.
