napa 6637 air filter
and today i added an edge evo 15001 with the built in guages and now i would like to know where all my temps should be
currently on race mode my temps max are this after heavy playing with it
eot 180
tran temp 160
max boost 16.9
max egt 900 (400-500 normal driving)( probe driver side pre turbo )

Those numbers look very good. Where are you located, The colder weather will help eliminate smoke. The off the shelf tuners will not smoke as much as a general rule. They are not adding as much fuel as some of the custom tunes will.

Temps look fine. Boost looks low. Make sure your boot clamps are all tight. You might try disconnecting the red line to the wastegate and see if your boost numbers increase. Simply plug the red line onto one of the boot clamps screws near by. The truck will de-fuel itself at around 22 psi, so you are not going to hurt anything. You should not have trouble hitting 22 psi with a tuner...

Temps - Heavy acceleration/load - Keep the EGT under 1200, preferably under 1100F
EOT of 180 is normal with a standard T-Stat. Under load or hot weather you may well see 210. Trans temp of 160 is normal and good. Loaded or hot out, make sure to keep it below 220.

Got any trauck details?

Belated welcome to the forum.

Tranny temps below 200 are good, the lower the better so you're great. Max boost on a stock turbo is probably 25 psi, but that high may shorten the turbo life or trip codes and/or defuel. Low 20's would be better. Lower than 1200 deg on the EGT is what's considered safe.

You should be fine with the edge. The tranny shifting may be a little harsh, which is just a side effect of the edge, but you really don't have enough power to worry about much. You won't produce much smoke at all, just a slight haze, but if you really get on it, you can sometimes trip a P1211 code.

My wife's truck came with an edge programmer. It made her auto bearable to drive. We upgraded to Tony's tunes to make it fun to drive.

Crazy, I have a 2000 F-250 7.3 4X4 Crew Cab Long box... Edge Evolution, K&N intake kit, muffler delete. On 80 hp setting throws me back in my seat and black smokes the guy behind me as I pass him and he disappeares from my mirrors. 100 hp setting it's almost too hard to keep the rear wheels from smokin. I beat my buddy's '05 V8 Firebird up to 70mph. Loaded I'm running 220 tran temp and 180 oil temp.
