I have recently started feeling a putter and somewhat of a shake on my f150 when I let off of the gas. I have ran engine tests and the codes given were P1299 and P0304. I have checked and looked into the codes but there are many different things listed that could possibly be wrong. I am basically asking for some assistance or looking for someone that had the same kind of problem.
well the p1299 means you over heated it, did you notice the temp gauge in the red?, since you overheated it I'm going to suggest you do a compression test good chance you have a blown head gasket or a cracked head, is your coolant low?
I checked the coolant and the coolant is fine. I ran the reset test in an attempt to reset my sensor to fix the P1299. After the test was done when letting off of the gas it doesn't not have a putter to it while letting off of the gas. The only time the vehicle putters is when I am giving the vehicle gas. The putter is when giving the gas while driving although it isn't a constant putter. The putter isn't a shake to where its going to break necks but noticeable. I have had numerous suggestions of spark plugs, water in the coils, broken coils, on and on and on. Trying to work the problem best I can or get advice before I spend the bucks to get it looked at. Its the recession hahaha.
well plug 4 tends to get filled with coolant when there is a slight leak at the back of the intake, take a close look at the metal pipe going to the heater hose
