01 supercrew

I have an 01 supercrew 5.4 off road xlt.It has 96xxx miles. It is black with grey cloth interior.I hate to even think about selling it.I am the second owner and have had it for 1 1/2 years now.I am totally picky about maint and not abusing it.In my opinion it is one of the cleanest un molested trucks around.
VERY CLEAN!!!!!Great tires! etc...

My problem is I need some input on value.I owe WAY more than it is worth.I know I have a loan secured for the balance.I need to get out of the payment for my familys sake.

I have been telling inquies 10500$.....Is that high? I need to sell but need to et as much as I can.I get lots of calls but it stops as soon as I tell price so I must be high. But I need advive on what that number will be about.

I bought my 2001 XLT supercrew 2 wheel drive 3 months ago from the original owners. It is in excellent condition with 110,000 miles.Paid what the dealer offered them for a trade in-4,000.00.I have invested another 6-700 in parts since I bought it.(intake manifold, upper ball joints, alignment.)I did all the work myself to save the labor costs.

I'm having the same problems, many calls, but the price is scaring them away, and that's with extras put on the truck. Only problem with mine are the bloody rocker panels. I'm under blue book so I don't know what gives.

well around here these trucks range in price. they can be bought for 4 grand or less. then there are others that are more in the 7-10 grand range. basically year and condition is very important in pricing. the 7-10 grand trucks are in a completely different league as far as condition when compaired to the cheaper ones. from what you say about your truck and without seeing it, i would have to say that you are in a pretty good ballpark. hang in there. hopefully you can get away with keeping the truck... but good luck selling it.

Hi all, I have an 01 supercrew also and I have thought a few times about selling it and getting a Superduty, but I to , owe more than what the truck is worth. I think I owe about 10,500 left. My clearcoat has all check marks in it. Def defective paint from the factory, but Ford wants to know nothing! I love the truck so I am goin to keep it until the wheels fall off. I have just around 103k on it now.

Yea.I was very picky when I bought this one.I made sure it had the 9.75 rear with limited slip and not the 8.8.Made sure the door bottoms were not rusting out already(most I looked at were)and no captains chairs and a couple of other things. This is THE nicest one around. As I work at a hot rod shop and have 2 great body guys I make sure it needs nothing.I went to cincinatti to look one weekend evenb4 buying.I have to sell this and already have the replacement ready to go.

I have checked kbb.com and that is what my price reflected previously.THe problem is I think it is unreliable as far as actual value.
