Shaker Hood????
Has anyone put like a 71 ranchero shaker hood on their dent? I thought one mite look good sticking out of a dent... but everyone has their own opinions, so lets hear em.

It might look good with the hood closed, but outright retarded with the hood open. The air cleaner would need to be a foot or more above the carb just to reach the hood.

Only way i could think it would work is with a huge tunnel ram intake.....

Have you seen what they bring on Ebay ? I'd sell it before doing that to it.

I would like to see the old Galaxie lightweight 500 with the teardrop hood scoop on a dent side.Has anybody tried that yet?

the extra foot gives you more of a reason to put a 6 71 weiland supercharger on there!

Now what's cool are these old trucks, and even the 50s Ford Trucks that look like a normal, nice street truck and then open the hood and there is a SUPERCHARGER!

I like the clean, sleeper look myself.

were you talking to me? if so WRONG ahaha im runnin a 300 that ima build up a good bit. thinkin bout supercharging it but my wallet started to cry.

ha mine did that looking at windshield wipers holy crap 20 bucks for 1???

Just having a little fun, nothing personal. A 6-71 is great for small blocks, but ya gatta spin the bejeezus outta them when you have cubes. I'm running an 8-71 18% over to feed my 545 SVO blocked 14lbs. of boost. I want more, but really need a 10 or 12. But I have the same problem as most $$$$ .

make yourself a truck fund! i have a jar in my room that i stick coins in that i get from buyin other crap and save em then bring em to the bank.. today i got 70 bucks!
