Mounted a couple of "Raydyot" fog lights pirated from an old Jaguar. I like'em cuz they have built-in grills.... 'Still need to fab a switch panel and wire the four 6x9 100W lights on the roof.

Also revised the 3G alternator wiring with the help of Bullitt390... much cleaner now. Look for a comprehensive thread soon.

You're welcome - hope my pain and suffering pays off for you!

I had the a/c fixed in my 78 - that was expensive (new compressor) - but they filled it with "Freeze-12"...it's R-12 system compatible and colder than R-134

Got my truck running today. Sure is nice to have it going again. Only ran in to a couple of issues. First I noticed that the gas pedal was sitting pretty high, and then I found that I had a gas leak and had coated the engine bay in gas. I think I got the fuel leak fixed. I need to get some new fuel line tomorrow anyways. Also got the pedal where I like it. Truck is running better than ever. It even runs quieter. Too quiet for my tastes. I'll have to take care of that soon.

Broke the (used) temp gauge trying to replace the old one that did not work on my 1977 F100. Does anyone know how to remove the nuts on the back of the gauges without breaking the gauge?

I bought a new rag joint today. Tomorrow I may try to bleed the air out of my system and put it in.
