Stereo Advice

Looking for a system that can do the following:
Bluetooth for phone
Backup Camera
XM
Double Din so it looks more OEM.
Touch Screen
iPod interface that can control the iPod

Will be going into a 99 F350.
Not into it for music, more of a talk radio type of guy

What is the cheapest price I can expect to pay for such a system. Can this be done for <$500

Try Crutchfield and see what fits your truck. Sometimes they have what they call "scratch N dents" and closeouts. That site will at least give you an idea of what to expect in cost.

I use Car Audio Video - Car Subwoofers - Car Speakers and Amplifiers They have a big sale right now. Check & see if they have the unit you need. They have several double din models on sale.

I saw a unit with your needs for about $650 at the shop I posted. Its a last yrs model & the sale ends when they sell out of them

What do you guys thik of this one?

JENSEN DOUBLE DIN BLUETOOTH MONITOR/DVD PLAYER/XM/IPOD : eBay Motors (item 390127858840 end time Mar-05-10 14:55:28 PST)

Again, trying to keep it under $500. What I have found is that once you add the XM ready feature it increases the price. This is the cheapest one I've been able to find.

I figure another $200 bucks for the camera and satelite and I haven't blown my target by too much-or am I too optomistic. Installation parts another $50 or so.

We all know how expensive Car Toys(the store) is, but they have a Pioneer unit that's a good deal now. It's a Pioneer AVIC-U310BT In-Dash Navigation Receiver with CD Player. It's $388.00 online.. You will have to put an external XM reciever on it. Pioneer makes them too. You should be able to get XM for about $100.00 MSRP is $120.00. I'm a Pioneer dealer and that unit cost me $354.00. MSRP $549.00. I have a friend that went into the store and it was on for $384.00.

The one you found looks like a good deal. I'm just paranoid about buying this kind of stuff on ebay.
