ICP and AE question.

My Ex has had a slight intermitent roaming idle ~30 RPM but only before its warmed up. Once warm its always steady. Today I had the AE hooked up and the ICP voltage read anywhere from .75 to 1.1V while the idle was hunting, about 30 - 40 rpm again. Bad ICP? Also it died leaving the house, long crank and started right back up again. Has never died before.

AE now has the ability to shut off injectors. HOW?? I read look on the bottom of the screen for something, but I have nothing new. How can i turn it on? I do have version 8.1 loaded.

Side note: EOT and ECT never went more than 2* from each other on a 20 miles drive, new oil cooler works.
Thanks.

There is a little drop down box, or down arrow right next to the green refresh button. It is very small, and hard to see. Click on it to bring up your actuations box, and you will see all the new stuff you can do including turning of each injector.

I sure hope my oil cooler isn's about to go again. I had it replaced once under warranty at around 30,000 miles. I now have 61,000 miles on it and am seeing a big difference in the oil and coolant temp. Driving around town, i see anywhere from 2-15 degrees difference according to Autonginuity. Most of the time it is closer to 15.

Thanks, found the actuation panel. Will try it later hooked up to the Ex.

My EOT hit 17* over ECT on a 20 mile in town drive and was still trying to go higher I think. Also my EGR valve was unplugged but still wet, so i went ahead and deleted it and did the oil cooler. Then I added the coolant filter. I do not want to do that job again any time soon.
