wiring utility lights

New to this site and to wiring! I would like to install extra back up lights to the rear bumper (truck-lite) one wire utility lights. Need to know how to wire them up to the back up lights and put in a switch on the dash to use them when not in reverse. I have a 2003 F-350 Super Duty Diesel with tow package.
Any Suggestions would be very helpful. Thanx.

1 option you can wire it up to the power wire of the back up light, then run power to a dash
switch and conect it to the light, the only thing whit this is when you're going to
flip the switch both back up lights and utility lights are going to be on

2 option whit a relay i will try to find a schematic for you

I just ran a wire from one of the higher amp upfitter switches to two cheap tractor lights mounted on tabs under my rear bumper. Two of the upfitter switches are rated to either 20 or 30 amp (forgot which) and have pre wired lines through the firewall, and the lights draw less than the switch is rated for, so why bother with a relay? Thus my set up is a simple on/off.

IPF makes an all inclusive back up light kit with a lighted three position switch - on - off - on only in reverse. It cuts into the factory backup light line as the plans above do and includes a relay, fuses, and relay integrated switch for the "on in reverse" function. The kit comes with only one light but two of these lights still draw less than the relay and fuse is rated for so I wired up two and mounted then on tabs I welded on the back of my rockcrawler (which I tow with my F-350) and its been working like a champ for a good six years.

I don't care if my tow rig has a neat "on only in reverse" function and just wanted to use the upfitter switches I already had and not clutter the cab with switches. I rarely actually use these lights for backing up, they are usually only on when I strapping the Jeep to the trailer behind the Ford.
