I started my truck yesterday in the morning and it always smokes a lil bit of white smoke but it was smoking black and kinda bad. it never does that and i was wondering if it was something bad.

If your steping on it when cold and the EBPV is closed it can cause low boost and you will get more smoke. But the smoke normally is not black but blue with some white.

check the UVCH. one of my cousins friends called me with this same problem and it was a loose wire in the UVCH. also unplug the EBPV just in case

Clear me up on this

If you unplug the EBPV while the valve is closed I was told it would stay closed, is that right??? And if it was opened and unplugged then it would stay open. ???
